Which Chantelle SoftStretch Brief is best for me?

High Waist Full Brief by Chantelle SoftStretch

If you prefer full bottom coverage and a high waist, this is the brief for you. They offer 360 degree stretch, move with your body and less likely to be seen under clothes as they finish as your waist / belly button.  This pant provides the maximum coverage of the briefs in the Chantelle SoftStretch collection.

Hipster Shorty Brief by Chantelle SoftStretch

With a lower rise than the full brief, the hipster / shorty brief will finish at the hips mid-way between your pubic bone and your belly button. A little more cheeky than the full brief but still provides good bottom coverage. Perfect for women who like a full brief without the high waist. This brief provides the 2nd highest coverage of our Chantelle SoftStretch collection.

Tanga / Thong / G-string by Chantelle SoftStretch

If you like a Thong or G-string, there are two options in the SoftStretch collection that we offer at The Foundation. The High Waist thong, as the name suggests, finishes at the waist line or belly button, providing more coverage of the hips, tummy and back while still offering a cheeky bottom.

The mid-rise, or regular version of the tanga / thong by Chantelle SoftStretch has the same cheeky bottom with less coverage of the hips and tummy. While all SoftStretch briefs are nearly invisible under clothes, the thong goes that one step further and has become a favourite brief for brides, under the wedding dress for a seamless finish.

XL-4XL Full Brief by Chantelle SoftStretch

While the famous SoftStretch claim to be a one-size-fits-most brief, for those who are an AU size 18 - 24, there is an XL - 4XL version for a more shapely figure. Just like the regular SoftStretch Full Brief, these are high rise, offer full bottom coverage and the same, comfortable, flexible fit.

Thigh Short by Chantelle SoftStretch

Can be worn as a brief, the Mid-Thigh Short by SoftStrech is great for women who suffer chaffing or who want a little smoothing of the upper thighs. While not a shapewear garment, we find customers love the Mid-Thigh Short to wear under sheer clothing or to smooth any lumps and bumps under tight fitting clothes without the struggle of shapewear. 

Do SoftStretch briefs roll down?

Chantelle SoftStretch briefs are a best-seller at The Foundation for a reason. There is little feedback to suggest these briefs roll down but it really does depend on your body shape and the clothes you are wearing. We think it is impossible to expect any brief to stay put if you are wearing tight clothing and doing a lot of movement that creates friction between the fabric. A thong under lycra active-wear for example will perform better than a full brief. There are no guarantees but we can honestly say we have very few complaints about SoftStretch rolling down. 

What is Chantelle SoftStretch made from?

 SoftStretch is made from a Microfibre fabric known for its moisture-wicking and quick drying properties. Microfibre is light weight and breathable and of course all SoftStretch briefs have a cotton gusset. 

Does One-Size SoftStretch Briefs really fit everyone?

The regular SoftStretch briefs are best suited for women between AU size 8 - 18. The XL-4XL version is best for AU size 18 - 24. If you are a size 18 and cannot choose which way to go, the regular fit will be more sheer on your body than the XL-4XL version as there is less fabric.
