This Modal Cashmere Long Sleeve Top / women's spencer thermal wear, is luxurious, Italian-made thermal underwear for women. Made from a gorgeous mix of Modal, a soft, natural fiber made from beech trees, and luxurious Cashmere. Wearing this, is like dressing yourself up in a warm hug! The fabric feels delicate to the touch and just wraps to the curves of your body due to the added Elastane and snaps back into shape when washed according to the directions. Available in classic black and a range of ongoing and seasonal colours.
The long sleeve spencer, thermal women's undergarment is also available in a tank top / sleeveless top and long sleeve polo neck top with the same fabric composition. You can layer a long sleeve version over the top of the sleeveless top for additional warmth and coverage. It is so fine, sheer and lightweight, you'll want to wear it to bed too!
Our Italian manufacturer started in a small laboratory in Chions, Italy in 1966, and has been produced in Italy by the many generations of the same family, passing on the traditions in manufacturing high quality under garments.
Due to the natural composition, the marle of the fabric and colour density may change slightly from season to season.
Composition: 85% Modal, 9% Cashmere, 6% Elastane
Our model and beautiful friend is wearing the size S/M, she is usually an AU size 8. We recommend S/M up to a size 12 and the L/XL for size 14 - 18. Due to the sheer, lightweight fabric, the garment will become more sheer when stretched over the body and can become see through. If you are between sizes, we suggest you go up and for additional coverage, add a tank / singlet top in the same range underneath. Great layering piece.

Our beautiful collection of women's thermal underwear is available in two size grids depending on the item. If you are familiar with the EGI brand, this fits the same as EGI.

Our modal garments fit snug on the body and so we recommend sizing up if you are between sizes for a better fit.

Our modal / cashmere blend garments come in just two sizes. The greater they stretch, the more sheer they become and so if you are looking for more coverage or are at the upper end of the size grid we would suggest sizing up.
Our model Sondrine would normally wear a size 8-10 AU, and she is wearing the S/M which gave her good coverage.

- For any Pre-Order items, allow an additional 1o business days for delivery
- All returns and exchanges must be received within 30 days of purchase
- Due to health reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on briefs, shapeware, bodysuits or hosiery items unless faulty
- Any eligible returned item must be in new condition with tags attached. This means unwashed and unworn.
- We promise to resolve returns and exchanges as promptly and fairly as possible.
- The customer is responsible for return postage costs, unless faulty, and tracking options are recommended.

1. Placing an Order
- Place your order online at thefoundation.com.au.
- Full payment is required at checkout — we accept major credit cards and PayPal.
- After purchasing, you will receive an order confirmation email to your inbox.
- Contact one of our stores to make an order over the phone. Full payment via credit card is required at time of order.
2. Shipping & Delivery
- Australia (Standard): Free for orders $150 and over, $10 flat rate if under $150; delivery in 3–7 business days.
- Australia (Express): $15 flat rate; delivery in 2–4 business days.
- International: $25 flat rate; delivery in 7–21 business days.
- These are estimates and may vary due to couriers or customs. Shipping risk passes to you upon delivery.
3. Returns & Exchanges — What You Need to Know
Eligible Returns
- Change of Mind:
- Acceptable within 30 days of purchase.
- Items must be unworn, unwashed, in original packaging, with tags attached.
- For hygiene and sizing integrity, briefs, shapewear, bodysuits, and hosiery are not returnable unless faulty.
Outlet Item Exceptions:
- Items discounted by 50% or more and all Outlet items are final sale and are ineligible for return, even if in perfect condition and not faulty.
Faulty Items
- If your item is faulty, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund as per Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
- We inspect and consult suppliers if needed. We'll keep you informed and cover return postage for confirmed faults

- Store credit is valid for 3 years from date of issuance.
5. Free Gift & Promo Return Clause
If a free gift was included as part of a promotion and you wish to return the main purchase, the free gift must also be returned. If not, the RRP of the free gift will be deducted from your refund.
6. How to Make a Return
- Complete this FORM and return your eligible item to one of our stores. Contact us first if the item is faulty or not as described.
- On receipt and inspection, we’ll process your exchange, store credit, or refund (if applicable). Store credit details will be emailed within 10 business days.
7. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Consumer guarantees under the ACL cannot be excluded or limited. If your purchase has a major failure, you're entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund, in addition to fair compensation for foreseeable losses.
