Bra sizing isn’t as straightforward as it seems—especially when each brand uses a different system like UK, European, French, or Australian sizing. A brand with a DD cup in one chart might be an E or a DDD in another, and cup sizes don’t always match across the board. Do you know what size chart your favourite bra uses? We do!
At The Foundation, we understand the quirks of every brand we carry and we know that if you are a 36E in one brand it doesn’t mean you will be a 14E in another brand, even if the size chart says so. With decades of fitting experience, we take the guesswork out – no charts, no tape measures, no confusion – just a perfect fit.
So please, come and visit us for a bra fitting, where you will get all the support you need to find the perfect fit.
If you insist on rolling the dice, let us give you a few tips:
- Check the label on one of your bras—do you know what size grid it’s using?
- If it’s marked as 85F, is that FRA (French) or EUR (European)? It could mean you're AU 10 or AU 16 depending on the chart.
- When switching brands, make sure you're switching grids too—our charts help with that.
- We’ll show you how to convert from EUR 85F to AU 16E if that’s what your new brand uses.
Still unsure? Come visit us, have fun, and skip the return drama.
We don’t estimate cup size using a tape measure. Bust volume depends on your band size and your body shape—measuring across the nipples doesn’t cut it. Everyone’s different, and we’re here to help you get it right.
